In today’s world, public figures live very public lives, where their every movement, every unconscious gesture, could find its way onto social media. Taking this negotiation of private lives in public spaces as its starting point, the Good Vibrations photography project placed cameras in the hands of some of China’s best known stars, and asked them to take pictures of their own intimate worlds.

Working in close collaboration with project initiator Shanghai Center of Photography (SCoP), LP Films documented the process in a series of intimate short films that follow the celebrity participants on their journey. Featuring Jiang Wen, Zhou Xun, Shu Qi, Chen Kun, Leah Dou and Bi Gan.
